New Otani Inn Tokyo

The New Otani enjoys a serene location set at the heart of a ten-acre 400-year-old traditional Japanese garden. Originally designed to host guests for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, founder Yonetaro Otani designed and built to preserve the beautiful landscape and a historic stone wall of an Edo era mansion. The resulting property is over 1500 rooms and suites. Guests can choose from 5 different room types in the Executive House Zen which offers a unique boutique hotel sanctuary. The Main hotel rooms and suites start with Quality Double featuring brown tones in furniture and upholstery, king bed, shower over bath, Yukata robes, refrigerator/mini-bar, flat-screen televisions and complimentary Wi-FI. New Otani Garden Tower Rooms cover a range of 8 categories; choose from a range of 60 suites across the whole property.

An eye-watering array of over 30 dining options include Western, Japanese Teppanyaki and Steak-house style, and Chinese styles. There are cafés and lounges, bars and buffets, take-out is available and room-service an option. The highlight dining experience is The Sky which is a 360-dgree revolving restaurant on the top floor of the Tower.  Facilities include spa, hairdresser, doctor, and dentist. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool which is open in the Summer but commands a small access fee. Fans of James Bond will recognise the hotel complex from the 1967 film – You Only Live Twice – starring the late Sean Connery.
